1517 Overdrive

The 1517 Overdrive builds on the legacy of The Armistice with the same spirit of bold tone-shaping freedom—only now bearing a name worthy of nailing your sound to the door. This is not your average two-knob dirt box. With an arsenal of tone-sculpting tools under the hood, the 1517 gives you surgical control over your overdrive character, making it equally at home as a warm, bluesy foundation, a sharp cutting rhythm tone, or a brutally tight boost for high-gain amps. While the Volume and Gain set your basic output and drive levels, the real magic happens with the extra shaping controls:

Treble - A passive high-end filter that lets you mellow the bite or unleash all the shimmer.
Cut Switch - Trims bass and shifts the Timbre sweep, perfect for tailoring to single coils or humbuckers, or for tightening up as a focused lead or boost.
Texture - Past noon, a limiting circuit engages an extra hard-clipping gain stage for a more aggressive, harmonically rich attack.
Timbre - Dials in upper midrange presence and gain character, from smooth and rounded to cutting and articulate.
